I'm a bilingual (English/Japanese) data engineer and BI lead. For over ten years I've been building the data pipelines, warehouses, and reports that companies use to run their business.
My work usually starts where the data is messy: spread across ERPs, CRMs, spreadsheets, and vendor feeds. I build pipelines that bring it together, model it in a warehouse like Snowflake or Databricks, and deliver it through Power BI reports that people actually use. I've stood up BI platforms from zero more than once, and I care as much about adoption, governance, and version control as I do about the dashboards themselves.
I've done this across manufacturing, consumer goods, healthcare, and industrial work. Because I work in both English and Japanese, I often end up as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
Stood up Power BI platforms from scratch: data models, production reports used across departments, and the governance, Git, and CI/CD practices that keep them trustworthy.
Built pipelines from raw sources to reporting, e.g. ADLS → Databricks → Snowflake → dbt → Power BI, plus Azure Data Factory and Synapse workflows.
Engineered production pipelines on AWS (EMR, S3, Lambda) over terabyte-scale geospatial data, turning raw feeds into client-ready datasets.
Built demand forecasting, segmentation, and classification models in Databricks with PySpark and scikit-learn, and put them in front of decision-makers.
